A square is an interesting format in which to compose!  THIS was a new experience for me, primarily using acrylic paints.  I first laid down many interesting textural bits into a bed of gesso and then began painting over them.  I had a few little shells and some bits of paper and screen which reminded me of the ocean...adding some textured gesso made it seem even more like sand, and images that might wash ashore at low tide.  The colors are aqua and gold, which I really like together!
