My very first acrylic on board gave me the feeling of deep water, hence the name, HIGH TIDE. It came from a sense of play with the color, the texture and the light. It was a challenge to learn to work with this fast drying medium, but I enjoyed it's flexibility and the ability to change things once they're down (not so easy in watercolor)!
I like this small piece which sits atop a frame-like box without need for glass or mat.  Good things come in small packages?
