Named Odyssey because it truly was my first outing into pouring watercolor paint onto a wet FULL SHEET of Arches #140 cold press watercolor paper, this has become a signature piece.  As in the demonstration of pouring here on the site, I was thinking DESIGN, not object or subject for this piece, so it has a nice loose and ethereal quality.  The palette is a fun one to use, Indigo, Burnt Sienna and Naples Yellow.  Over the other paints I poured some Iridescent Copper which floated on the top surface of the piece.  Odyssey I has won many awards in California shows!  I am very proud of it.  Also, this was my first venture into the world of giclee' prints. It's interesting to note that the giclée can be reprinted any number of times at different sizes and always appear the same as the first.  Giclee' prints available as ordered in various sizes.  Email Kate
