After spending some time at the beach and admiring my Mother's huge collection of beach glass, these colors beckoned!  That wonderful sea green, and deep blue of the ocean mixed with the  colors one finds in beach glass that has been tumbled for ages by the tides rolled off my palette onto the page.  The joy was finding the wave shapes over driftwood and rocks and bringing them out by adding  more paint, white and green fiber papers and splattering a tiny amount of white ink!  I even used some salt for texture...you know, for the salt water sprays!!
