BLUE CANYON
 
After pouring the ultramarine blue, burnt sienna and naples yellow on a 1/2 sheet of Arches paper, I found myself wanting to glue "stuff" on this painting to create more texture.  I really liked the colors and had punched out some leaf shapes from various colorful papers that seemed to CRY OUT to be attached to this painting.  Actually it ended up seeming like fall leaves dropping and floating on the wind through a colorful canyon in autumn.
