This interesting size and format was fun to work on, for some reason I felt like this was a thistle-like flower and french because of the color and the gold webbing over the surface which felt like lace to me.  It's a very feminine piece, yet its base is sturdy and solid.  Green, pale pinks and violets work so beautifully together.
