Over the years I have loved painting whimsical cactus and desert scenes. This little gem was painted with a trio of primaries, then while wet, various rice like papers were added. After the papers dry and are glued in place, paint adheres quite nicely and deepens the color as well. A bug's eye view of the sun up through the prickly pear!
