SAPPHIRE TOES
Of all the models, this man was the most dramatic. I have many paintings of Sapphire, his performance art name. A dancer, he rarely sat still...so to catch him in a chair was unusual. His toes were dark and had a lovely deep blue tone...and as you can see, THEY were not sitting still! It's totally watercolor and painted in "local" color.
