CHECKERS AND GLORIA
Gloria sort of had a marble like color, so the area she's leaning against became cracking marble, which actually begins to crack into her body as well... The checkers of course give the feeling to me of a nice old patchwork quilt on her bed.  I guess I've captured the harsh and soft of being naked in the world? I added the pastel chalks to give the softer edge to dear Gloria and the harsher LINE quality to her surroundings.
